It’s not always easy being a sister, but if you’re lucky enough to have a sister I’m sure you understand that the relationship you have with your sister is one of strongest friendship, you could ever wish for. Of course families fight sometimes and siblings bicker often – but deep down we all love our sisters. I know that my sister is my best friend and regardless of what either of us does, nothing will change that. “A sister can be seen as someone who is both ourselves and very much not ourselves - a special kind of double,” Toni Morrison.

A review of food labels is taking place within Australia in regards to providing nutritional information to guide consumer food choices. An FOPL system considered is the UK adopted Traffic Light system, which applies red, amber or green traffic lights to the front of the pack depending on the total fat, sugar and salt content of the product.
Nut's For Life explained that "Implementing a Traffic Light System is not as simple as start, slow, stop. Only tallying ‘total’ fats in foods and ignoring the type of fat means that natural primary produce foods containing healthy fats such as nuts, avocados and olives would carry the same ‘red light’ as manufactured chocolate bars and chips."

AVG (AU/NZ) helps home and business users understand who they need to protect themselves against they have provided us with this piece: Today, almost all computers are connected to the Internet. This means they're connected to other computers – which involves risk.
We use our PCs for both work and play. We shop, bank and play games online – even when we're at work – but we also work when we're at home. The web is a research tool and an entertainment centre, letting us access music, movies, TV shows and much more. In doing so we store useful information, indeed even vital private and personal information, on our PCs.

Wow! What a shock I received on Sunday morning when I read a story from the Courier Mail talking of young women and their lack of ‘female skills’. As a 22-year-old female with her own home I believe I’ve got the mandatory ‘female skills’ under my belt, but apparently not...
The article begins “BASIC "female" skills are becoming endangered with fewer young women able to iron a shirt, cook a roast chicken or hem a skirt.”

As Valentine’s Day looms nearer, is it all about light, love and laughter… chocolates and roses, or might it be useful, fun and interesting to dig below the wrapping and see what happens on the other 364 days of the year? Most of us have noticed by now that we are living in ‘interesting times’. And wherever you look relationships don’t seem to be doing so well. Many people, our conservative politicians included, often recommend that we go back to the good ole days when men and women knew their place in society. However, my belief is that we humans are part of a much larger evolution in consciousness and we have entered a healing time of chaos… a time where the old, stale ways of thinking are dying, and new fresh ways of being together are inexorably emerging.

The George Institute for Global Health has stated that less than 50% of bread products found in Australian supermarkets contain acceptable salt levels. Salt is one of the leading contributors to heart disease and stroke, which kills one-in-three Australians every year. “Bread accounts for about one fifth of daily salt intake for Australians who on average consume between 5 to10 times the 1g of salt per day required for good health.”

What did you see when you looked outside your bedroom window this morning? Most Queenslanders didn’t get a good night sleep or any sleep at all as they are located in an area that has been declared a ‘disaster zone’; as most of Queensland (QLD) is covered in water.
It would be safe of me to assume that you have seen the stories whether you’ve watched the extended news reports, heard about the Queensland floods on the radio or read the stories in the newspapers. You will all know that Queensland is under metres of water which is showing no signs of moving, anytime soon. The floods have impacted 75% of Queensland which is the combined size of Germany and France.
