New research shows that Australia is a nation of TV wanabes- most wanting to become famous and start a career in television. TVSN has launced a campaign to work alongside these findings titled: 'Shopping for a STAR'- which will see TVSN began a nation wide search for a new TV presenter. Do you want to be famous? Why do you want to be famous? Australians also dream of pursuing happiness through the perfect lifestyle of fame and spending.



The Shopping and Stardom research by TVSN (Australias only TV shopping network) showed that one third of all respondents to their survey wanted to become famouse or start a career in TV. Also more than 20% said they would do anything to grab '15 minutes of fame'.

The winner of the TVSN 'Shopping for a STAR' recieves a three month TV presenting deal for TVSN, $30,000 worth of prizes and $20,000 cash.

    hmmm... let me think. I guess I wouldn't like to famous. in spite of all those benefits. one must sacrifice more! quiet life, relationships, privacy...I like my life the way it is.
