Clinique Art

In honour of Clinique's award-winning and best-selling Chubby Sticks we have teamed up with four Australian female artists to create Clinique Art. Using Chubby Sticks as their palette the four unique designs will form our Facebook Cover image for one week each during the month of November.

At Clinique we think colour should be fun! And what's more fun than using our Chubby Sticks as colouring pencils.

Each artist received the entire line up of Chubby Sticks, Chubby Intense and our newly launched Chubby Stick for Eyes and were asked to create a Chubby Art in keeping with their personal style.

Here is what they had to say…

"I actually worked as a makeup artist to put myself through art school, so this project was a lot of fun for me! I love all the bright colours in the Chubby Stick range - especially the pinks, reds and oranges. As both an artist and a former makeup artist I was really impressed by the high amount of pigment and smoothness of the Chubby Sticks, which made painting both myself and my mermaid so easy! Perfect for Summer - I'll be keeping a few of these in my purse at all times."

- Bei Badgirl

"…you only have to let the soft animal of your body love what it loves"
- Mary Oliver

"There was something extremely feminine and sensual in painting with the lip colours and balms, highlighting the fact that make-up is not for 'covering up'. It is for celebrating and playing, highlighting ones natural beauty and feeling great, and that is exactly what Clinique has achieved with their brand. It was a great pleasure for me to work on a piece that says those words in pictures… using their products!"

- Lucabattles

"The new Clinique Chubby sticks come in a truly delectable colour range.
Their weightlessness and velvety texture makes them fluid and as easy to shade with in an illustration as they are to wear as makeup. My Clinique artwork was inspired by makeup artists technical template sheets, where I could let the make up be the highlight in modern yet classic and easy to wear colours."
