You can match your games and party-entertainment to you theme. Also remember to reflect your theme in the food, invitation, decorations, birthday cake and music.

The reason dress up parties are becoming more and more of a success is because we all love the chance to have a bit of fun getting dressed up, but it’s not only dressing up that comes with themes, we also get to role play through our character. During this role playing we get to lose our inhibitions and can become different, more confident people. Dress up parties are a great way to break the cycle of boring and mundane social gatherings, as dressing up seems to be a fantastic icebreaker and conversation starter, so socialising becomes easier, especially if you can’t see the other persons face! Dress up parties are a great way to bring all your family and friends together for a good laugh at each other.

It’s a good idea to give out awards to the best-dressed person or most creative as this entices people and rewards those who put in a lot of effort. The best way to decide this is have a piece of paper per guest and let them decide!
