Florence Hall

Florence Hall

Florence Hall explains that music was always a huge part of her life and that is probably why she is a musician today, it is her way of giving something back to all those influential musicians she listened to. Her EP is titled ‘always on the run’.

Florence Hall explains that she listened to bands from all different genres as she grew up, her parents were into Pink Floyd, Eric Clapton and the Eagles whilst her sister was a huge eighties pop princess listening to Motown. Florence’s brothers listened to Jimi Hendrix and Led Zep. Her family has helped her with her musical career and her huge collection of music interests.

Her EP is titled ‘always on the run’.

Florence Hall’s band contains herself as the main vocalist, Vincent Carroll, Michael Deane, Menashe Porath, Alex Toms on guitar and David Wosner on Violin whilst Alex L’estrange played the Cello.

It took a few years for Florence Hall to perfect her album, in this time she co wrote with her partner and music producer Alex Toms. We released Always on the Run and another track Over Ride into the club scene and both received extensive radio play on student radio over here and in Europe. Always on the Run even made it to single of the week on a station in Spain.

The album itself tells the tale of being on your own, to falling in love, falling out of love and then back to the beginning.
