Soul Diva Gabrielle is celebrating after the release of her third album "Rise". The one-time girl-next-door-who-sang-a-bit has blossomed into one of UK's most admired, most popular singer-songwriters.
The latest piece of proof comes with Gabrielle's superb contribution of the theme song to the hugely popular "Bridget Jones' Diary" movie, starring Hugh Grant and Renee Zellweger. Her single "Out of Reach" was the most played song on radio stations across the globe.
In true Gabrielle style "Out of Reach" flows down that valley between pop and soul, its organic, string-laden arrangement providing the simple bed over which the artist relates her tale of hopes crushed and lessons learned, like the storyteller she is. You hear what she is saying, you relate to every word, you feel it's happened to her like it once happened to you.
Gabrielle is now turning her thoughts towards a fourth album. It's early days, but already she's been over to Ireland recording and learning to live with the expectation of her growing army of fans.
