Singer, songwriter, actress and instrumentalist Ja'Quay has been crowned a diva at the age of 15 by her peers. The heavily requested teen smiled, then said, "I'm going to kick the door down with this one".
The talented musician from Chester, PA has released her second single off the "Simple Me" album a move that thrilled her array of fans, across the world. The song entitled 'Shush' has been generating great reviews from fans and DJs that have attended her concerts. Ja'Quay has a combination of high energy, through provoking lyrics and her uncanny ability to amuse all ages of people. She steps on stage and her alter ego takes over and after the show, she returns to herself, a quiet young woman, who likes to read and listen to assorted music.
Ja'Quay would like to give credit to Chaka Chan, Ether Waters, Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Patti Labelle and Aretha Franklins as inspiration to her singing.
