Launch Your Label is a new exciting initiative created by oneweardesigns.com aimed at discovering and investing in the future of an outstanding new fashion label and model talent. Launch Your Label has the support of an impressive panel of judges and mentors, coming together to support the future of fashion in Australia.

For the fashion designer component of the competition applications are open until this Sunday 3 June, 2012. The competition aims to discover Australia's most promising new fashion label. With a panel of judges from the most influential sectors of fashion, a prize worth more than $20,000 and an event showcasing your designs to the -who's who' of Australia's fashion influencers and media, it's the perfect stepping stone to launch your fashion career.

The winner will receive a prize package in excess of $20,000, including a full page in Shop Til You Drop magazine promoting their brand, a leading designer mentorship, a boutique on the Oneweardesigns.com website, a three month start up marketing package and a cash prize. The winner will be announced at a VIP event on the 29th of August, 2012 in front of Sydney's fashion and media elite, the perfect platform to launch your label.

A new addition to the competition is the Launch Your Label Model Search. Entries open Monday 4 June - July 31, 2012. Want to launch your modelling career? Are you an aspiring model aged between 16 and 20? We're looking for the next big Australian modelling sensation! Our five lucky finalists will get to strut the catwalk at the Launch Your Label VIP event in August.

The major prize consists of a 12 month agency representation with Chadwick Models, fashion shoot in the winning designer's collection, featured in Shop Til Your Drop magazine, a portfolio shoot with Haute Photography and will be the face of oneweardesigns.com for 12 months.
