Lee Autumn/Winter 02

Lee Autumn/Winter 02 THE WORD ON THE STREET....
Introducing Lee Autumn/Winter 2002.

This season, Lee is on the street and back to school. With a collection inspired by trends from NYC's underground and retro high school dayze, attitude and cred make this season's looks less about fitting in and more about standing out, at the lockers and in the stairwell…and shooting hoops at the school gym.

In a bold move forward, Lee brings velour to the sporting arena and dresses up contenders fit for any duel…or table tennis match. Zip Sweat Tops, Hooded Jumpers and Tracksuit Pants come in colours that reflect the days of Diff'rent Strokes and Good Times.

The Cosby kids knew where it was at. Lee's range of t-shirting revives the days of inner thoughts worn as outerwear. Slogans such as 'Thank God I'm a VIP' and 'Lick My Lips' mirror the word on the street. A mixture of cotton, towelling and sweat-shirting create an understated edge and leave the kids dressed to cruise.

Way-out washes are the new denim uniform of the streets. Be it vintage, snow, mud, acid or cloud wash, it's all about Lee Denim. Lo Ryder, Superlo Ryder, Bumster Superflare, Flare and Lo-est styled jeans and skirts as well as blazers and jackets give the chicks in the corridors kiss-arse sex appeal whilst Misfit, Slouch, Bootcut, Flare and Low Rise styled jeans and Biker and Basic jackets let the guys maintain their cool.
