Glamourpuss has recently returned from a month in the USA where they searched over 200 antique stores to find the fabrics for this Vintage Glamourpuss range. These are truly beautiful designs and all of them are originals dating from the 1930s to the 1950s. All except one are barkcloth - that wonderful textured cotton that adorned the fashionable homes of mid-century America. This highly collectible fabric is becoming very difficult to get so Glamourpuss & Femail.com.au are proud and delighted to present to you with these glorious fabrics, in two shapes.
Sixteen of the fabrics have been made into the original tote bag shape and twelve have been made into the classic shoulder bag.
The fabric is cut randomly for these strictly limited edition bags, so no two are the same - every one is an original! They are all lined with shiny new satin and feel as good as they look. Both styles have small silver feet to protect the bases. The shoulder bags have a magnetic clasp closure and the totes are an open-top style. Each Vintage bag is beautifully presented in a Glamourpuss gift box.
