PTY LTD’s second album, ENTICER DELUXE carried through the class and
freshness of their debut album 'You Should Be Like This More Often' with
14 new tracks guaranteed to prove that the band’s appeal is definitely
unlimited. Featuring guest vocals from Latrice Barnett (Jay-J, Miguel
Migs) on three of the tracks, ENTICER DELUXE travels a range of soulful
styles combining house, slow groove, rocked out funk and atmospheric
dance floor excursions.
PTY LTD’s first steps began in 2001 with an EP called ‘Liquid Sunshine’
which brought about their first leap into the international music scene
after US DJ JT Donaldson saw them performing in their hometown Brisbane.
Two tracks from the EP, ‘Who’s Been Watchin’ You’ and ‘Feeling Is Gone,’
were remixed and released on two 12” singles through US label Gallery
Records with remixes by Donaldson, Derrick Carter and DJ Joshua.
PTY LTD started with style and have not eased up since. After releasing
the critically acclaimed debut album ‘You Should Be Like This More
Often’ at the end of 2003, PTY LTD embarked on a mini world tour
touching down in cities including: Kathmandu, Tokyo, LA and Chicago,
where they played open air parties and club shows. ?Two singles were
released from the album, ‘Treat Me Like That’ and ‘Elevator Lovin,’ the
latter remixed by Italian DJ, Blade from JestoFunk which became a
favourite of renowned US DJ, Danny Tenaglia, after he heard the remix
while playing alongside Blade in Naples.
Over the last six years PTY LTD have been the major exponents of soulful
funky house on the live front in clubland and at festivals, including;
Good Vibrations, The Falls, Parklife and Australian Kiss FM’s ‘Kiss My
Grass.’ During this time they have played alongside a number of overseas
acts and DJs including: Groove Armada, Moloko, Dimitri from Paris, Mark
Farina, Jay-J & Latrice Barnett and Crazy P., who remain big fans of the
band along with a dedicated following locally and internationally.
