Sony Music Entertainment is excited to announce that the brand new single for Samantha Jade, -Sweet Talk', will be at radio Friday November 13th, and is available to pre order now ahead of its release on Friday November 21st.

Turning up the heat for the Aussie summer, singer Samantha Jade returns with the soundtrack to the party and holiday season, with her brand new single -Sweet Talk'. Nailing the perfect sound for her next single, and on a roll from her multi-Platinum and Gold certified hits like -What You've Done To Me', -Firestarter', -Soldier' and -Up!', Samantha Jade serves up yet another radio-airplay smash hit boasting instant appeal and chart-topping ambitions.

Not only is -Sweet Talk' a new single, but it's surely the soundtrack to this summer! Think Janet Jackson meets Kylie: a jubilant feel-good disco-pop throwback, accented with double-claps and incredible Mariah-esque vocal runs.

"I loved the song the first moment I heard it. It made me feel good - it's a feeling more than it is just a great song. It's a great example of all the pop sounds and styles I like; it pulls them all together and sounds like a celebration of who I am as an artist.

"I've always had a thing for 90's style pop - the days when Britney, Mariah, and Christina were on a non-stop roll with huge hits. I'm really inspired by powerful women like that, and I love them. It seems like a lot of that female pop-star attitude is coming back with artists like Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus, and I just love that.

It's no surprise that -Sweet Talk' is so international sounding, given that Samantha recorded her vocals in London, and the song was then produced in Stockholm by Paro (Paloma Faith/ The Wanted), co-produced in LA by Brian Lee (Lady Gaga/Cary-Rae Jepson), mixed in Atlanta, Georgia, and then mastered in New York: a truly global recording befitting an artist with incredible global potential.

-Sweet Talk' is the lead single from Samantha Jade's album which is set for release in early 2015. It's an eagerly anticipated collection of material that's sure to echo the maturity, experience and talent that has been in and out of recording studios around the globe over the last ten years, whilst she has paid her dues. For now though, it's all about the sweet music and -Sweet Talk' for Samantha Jade. -Sweet Talk' is Samantha Jade's joyous, fun, and celebratory moment to dance her way into the next stage of her career.

Interview with Samantha Jade

Question: Tell us about Sweet Talk?

Samantha Jade: Sweet Talk is a song that was already written, which is a first for me because I've always been involved with all my other songs. This year has been tough as I've been dealing with personal things which meant I hadn't had a chance to be in the studio, writing. I heard the song and absolutely fell in love with it and wanted to records it, immediately!

The song has a 90's Janet (Jackson), Mariah (Carey) vibe, to me and that's why I think I connected so well, I love that kind of music.

Question: You've been likened to Kylie Minogue for Sweet Talk; how does that make you feel?

Samantha Jade: A lot of people have said that which is a good thing (laughs)!

Question: Have you filmed a video for this song, yet?

Samantha Jade: I have, it will be released with the song, Sweet Talk. The video is really awesome and I am super happy with it. The video is very summery and fun with a lot of bright colours. The video is super cute.

Question: This is the perfect song for the upcoming summer! What music/artists do you listen to when you are not playing your own?

Samantha Jade: I love Beyonce (in any season) she is built for all seasons. I have been listening to Drake and Rihanna lately, I love them. I cannot wait for Guy (Sebastian)'s new record to come out. I've been listening to Taylor (Swift)'s songs too. I like a little bit of everything, musically.

Question: Can you tell us anything about the 2015 album release?

Samantha Jade: I am very excited as the album release has been a long time coming; I just want to make sure it's right. I don't want to release anything without my stamp of approval. I am super excited for the album to be released, it's very pop however some songs fall under the urban category or the dance category but they're all under the pop umbrella.

Question: Do you prefer performing live or recording?

Samantha Jade: That's tough because they are both such different processes and I find I am in such different head spaces for them. When I am recording, I am locked away in a studio and it's very deep as you're writing and creating. Performing is more my favourite of the two because you have to just do it and if you stuff up, it's live, you've just got to keep on going but I like the feeling of that.

Question: What is the biggest challenge you have faced along the way to your musical success?

Samantha Jade: There have been a few challenges but I'd say it was definitely tough when I got dropped, the first time, it was really tough. Although challenges are something you've got to get past and move away from. The biggest challenge is what I've been through this year; losing my biggest fan and the centre of my world – that is the hardest thing I've had to deal with. Really hard….

Question: You have an extremely busy schedule; when you do get time to chill out – what do you do?

Samantha Jade: It's tough as I don't have much time off, to be honest but when I do, I make sure it's spent doing nothing. I literally sit on my couch and do nothing; I just have time to chill, drink tea and each chocolate. It's so good!

Question: If you could collaborate with another artist, who would it be?

Samantha Jade: Ed Sheeran and Drake are my two dream collaborations. Ed Sheeran is amazing, I love him.
