The DaVincibles' Madcap Adventures
Get ready to meet the over-the-top DaVinci family in the hilarious 'cartoon caper comedy' series, The DaVincibles, coming to Channel 7 in February 2011. Making its world premiere in Australia, the series follows Pablo, Zoe and Uncle Leo DaVinci on madcap adventures around the world every Saturday morning at 11.30am from February 5 2011 until April 9 2011.
This hilarious 52 x 11 minute classic cartoon series is aimed at 8-12 year olds and follows the heroic exploits of the modern-day DaVinci family as they explore the world for rare artefacts to sell at Uncle Leo's Kurios Kat antique shop. Along the way, they cross paths with the world's most devious, yet questionably competent, super villains known as 'The Society of Very Bad Villains' (or SVBV for short!).
"The DaVincibles is a great example of how co-productions with other countries can be a creative collaboration. We had an exciting team on this fun project that has produced a show that is not only relevant for our Australian audience but a show that will be a hit in Italy too", said Executive Producer, Suzanne Ryan.
Very dangerous and very ineffective, the SVBV will stop at nothing to defeat Pablo, Zoe and Uncle Leo. From their headquarters below a family style pizza parlour, the super-genius Quba and his SVBV constantly plot to rule the world - when they aren't serving pizza to screaming kids of course.
Armed with his special Spray Alive paint that can bring any inanimate object to life, Quba is after one thing: to make sure the world finally realises he is the greatest artist ever. Yeah, good luck with that!
But the DaVinci's are invincible, because through it all, the family that digs up treasure together, and fights very bad villains together
Pablo DaVinci is a cool kid who loves adventure. He has a good heart but his big mouth causes him loads of trouble! Zoe DaVinci is strong-willed, disarming and very persuasive. She is fashionable and cultured unlike her brother, Pablo! Uncle Leo DaVinci is totally clueless but comes through in the clutch. He is a legend in his own mind and faint hearted indeed!
