The Wiggles Racing to the Rainbow

If there’s a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, The Wiggles have certainly found it over the past fifteen years.
In their rainbow-like skivvies, The Wiggles - Murray Cook, Jeff Fatt, Anthony Field and Greg Page - have not only become the most successful children’s act in the world, but - much more importantly - have brought music, fun and happiness into the lives of countless youngsters along the way.
Now The Wiggles are celebrating their 15th birthday with a very special new album, Racing to the Rainbow. It features twenty two sensational new songs, together with a few old favourites that have been given The Wiggles treatment.
Highlights of Racing to the Rainbow include the wonderful "Rainbow of Colours" - yes, there’s even a mention of Jeff’s purple skivvy - and the delightful "The Princess of the Sea", a mermaid song that will enchant little girls everywhere.
Children and parents alike will love the seriously cute "Here Come the Chicken", about a chicken with hiccups, and as footy fever intensifies, young football fans will adore "Huddle, Huddle, Huddle (The Football Song)"
The Wiggles go off in search of the end of the rainbow on "Rockin’ on the Water", and head out for a teddy bears’ picnic on "Teddy Bears Big Day Out".
And young fans of The Wiggles who like to dance won’t be disappointed with Racing to the Rainbow. There are some very funky dance tracks on the album, including a special spider dance called "Do the Daddy Long Legs", "Bump-a-Deedle", "Stamp Your Feet (to the Heavy Beat)" and the big party track, "Everybody Dance!" where The Wiggles are joined by all their friends, Wags the Dog, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Henry the Octopus and Captain Feathersword.
Sleepy Wiggle "Jeff" who is always being told to Wake Up! now has his very own version of "Brahms’ Lullaby", entitled "Go to Sleep Jeff", and The Wiggles - with the help of Captain Feathersword - have breathed new life into children’s classics "The Wheels on the Bus", "Five Little Ducks" and "Row, Row, Row Your Boat". There’s also an exquisite version of that tinkling instrumental "Music Box Dancer".
It has been a huge year for The Wiggles. They took out their fifth ARIA Award for Best Australian Children’s Release with Live Hot Potatoes!, and were named Australian Export of the Year!
As well as performing in Australia, they toured the United States three times and played their second sellout tour of the United Kingdom.
The Wiggles tour Racing to The Rainbow live show will tour Australia in December, with tickets going on sale July 3. The show will feature many of the songs and dances from this new album along with all the favourites. Tour dates -
