Hospitality power house Renata Roberts is growing her restaurant group; opening in May 2016, Roberts' two Kenmore restaurants – Pizzeria Violetta (open since March 2015) and Sichuan Bang Bang (open since July 2012) will launch in Paddington at 167 Given Terrace  in one venue offering two distinctly different experiences. Sichuan Bang Bang and Pizzeria Violetta will stimulate the Brisbane suburb with a fresh and exciting dining hub that will serve up provincial Italian food and authentic Sichuan cuisine plus weekend breakfast, lunch and yum cha.

'Melbourne and Sydney are so spoilt for dining choice," said Roberts, who facilitated restaurant openings in both states before moving to Brisbane. 'I want to add depth to the Brisbane dining arena. I think this is the restaurant Paddington has been waiting for."

The venue will be split in two - a caboose style eatery on one side which will house Sichuan Bang Bang, an open stone bar in the middle as a divide and an open Italian kitchen complete with a Stefano Ferarra D.O.C wood fired pizza oven for Pizzeria Violetta on the other.

An outdoor deck will provide an open air dining area for Pizzeria Violetta.

The venue will also open weekends for breakfast and lunch at Pizzeria Violetta, and Yum Cha at Sichuan Bang Bang.

Take away will be available from 5pm daily and even earlier over weekend game days for those venturing to the stadium in need of a pre-game feed.

Roberts has conveyed  the unique look and feel of each Kenmore venue to Paddington, employing celebrated and local artist Kellie O'Dempsey to design artwork for each space. Melbourne artist Miss Sai Wai Foo will also install a life size dragon to reside in the ceiling of Sichuan Bang Bang called Madam Pearl Bang Bang Chang, to watch over the restaurant diners.

'The success of Bang Bang and Pizzeria Violetta have hinged on staying true to the heritage of reach restaurant's cuisine, this same principle will be employed in Paddington."
