With the beginning of the 2014 ski season fast approaching, Falls Creek Alpine Resort is gearing up for another massive season with activities for the entire family. Mountains of fun will be had by all, with 2014 set to be more action-packed than ever before!

Falls Creek Opening Weekend – 7 – 8 June
Celebrate the beginning of another snow season at Falls Creek, with a variety of terrain to suit a range of abilities and activities for the whole family to enjoy. Snowracer Series – 5, 6 & 12 July
Suitable for skiers of all ages and abilities, the Snowracer Series provides the opportunity for individuals to train and compete in Alpine and Snowboard GS, or Skier Cross and Snowboard Cross during the season. The Snowracer Series is also ideal for schools wishing to conduct training and/or time trials.

Rossignol Children's Cup – 11 July
The Rossignol Children's Cup is an opportunity for up-and-coming ski racers and boarders to participate in a competitive and fun environment. The family race event is open to children of all ages who want to develop their racing skills.

Mim Sodergrens Women's Program – 21 – 25 July and 22 – 24 September
Specially designed for and by women, Mim Sodergren Women's Ski Program helps women to improve their skills and overcome any fear they might have of the slopes. The program is open to all levels of skiing experience and each session includes six hours of instruction.

AAC & Riverina Ski Club Race – 2 August
A fun weekend for everyone that is prepared to have a go at the gates, from 6 right through to 60! There is keen competition for the top spot and a great challenge for everyone else!

Big Air – 16 August
The Big Air competition returns to Falls Creek for skiers and riders to compete for their chance to snare some of the $12,000 prize pool. Best SlopeStyle skiers and snowboarders will battle it out in the terrain park built by guru Ruben Cameron.

Hoppet Night Sprints – 21 August

Watch the world's best cross country racers compete head-to-head in the Village Bowl, with Australian skiers up against their elite international counterparts.

Kangaroo Hoppet – 23 August
The Kangaroo Hoppet is Australia's premier long distance cross-country ski race, an event which is part of the World Hoppet International Series. Some of the world's best competitors, both local and international, fight it out over 42km claim the prestigious title.

Stylewars – Australian Slopestyle Championships – 31 August & 3 September
Stylewars is part of the prestigious World Snowboard Tour, enabling riders from around the world to compete for points towards an overall world ranking. If the history of Stylewars is anything to go by it should be another world class event!

Final weekend of season – 27-28 September
Families, friends and ski and board enthusiasts can enjoy their final weekend on the slopes and bid the 2014 season farewell.
