What ensues is a series of blockbuster sea battles, where humans must unite to devise a strategy and combine their naval experience to outmaneuver the technologically advanced alien fleet. When all seems lost the humans must return to base and resurrect a giant retired naval destroyer (and its fleet) in a last-ditched attempt to defeat the alien invaders.
