During a transatlanti c fl ight from New York City to London, alcoholic U.S. Air Marshal Bill Marks (Neeson) receives a series of crypti c text messages on his secure phone demanding that he instruct the government to transfer $150 million into an off -shore account. Unti l he secures the money, a passenger on his fl ight will be killed every 20 minutes.

Things start to go south when Marks breaks protocol and consults his fellow Air Mashall Jack Hammond (Anson Mount), who is carrying a deadly secret of his own. Marks begins working with the fl ight crew and fellow passenger Jen Summers (Moore) to uncover the identi ty of the culprit. But when the other passengers on the plane suddenly fi nd out that the only bank account is listed in Marks name, the whole plane turns on Marks, beginning what could be the downfall of the plane and all those aboard.
