Creswick Woollen Mills' A Very Fine Yarn

After months in the making, Australia's last coloured woollen spinning mill, Creswick Woollen Mills unveil their latest tourism interactive tourism experience A Very Fine Yarn.

At the opening weekend, be one of the first to experience A Very Fine Yarn, a fully interactive and educational experience that showcases the journey of fibre; step by step from its source on the alpaca, through the manufacturing process and finally to the shelf.

The exciting experience begins with an introduction to the resident alpacas, a tour of the working mill machinery that includes blending, carding, spinning and weaving – fun and educational for the whole family.

During the opening weekend, there is free access to the attraction for the entire family between 11am and 2pm and between 11am and 3pm on the hour, there will be free, guided tours of the Mills.

After launch, the Mill will be open to the public 7 days a week with tour times at 11am and 2pm everyday, with entry at $15.
