Ella Henderson has teamed up with GRAMMY-winning songwriter and US country star, Breland, on new single 'One Door Closes'. Listen here.
Written by Ella and Breland at Apple Music Studios in Nashville, 'One Door Closes' sets the scene of two heartbroken strangers in a bar, trading stories of heartbreak and finding the courage to give love another chance.
Ella shares: "One Door Closes is deeply personal. It's about self-growth, about learning to let go of what holds you back and embracing the next chapter - whether that be in love, life, or in my case, my music. It's not just a duet - it's a statement of where I'm going musically, and I couldn't be more excited to share this sound with the world!"
Breland adds: "So many of my favorite memories as an artist are the moments I've had in the UK, whether it's my first sold out show in London, playing the O2 with Shania, or going across the pond to write. While Ella and I actually wrote One Door Closes in Nashville, it was the time we spent together afterward in the UK that we realized just how special the song is. I can't wait for people all over the world to discover and enjoy it the same way we do."
'One Door Closes' arrives on the heels of Ella's fourth BRIT Award nomination for 'Song Of The Year' ('Alibi' ft. Rudimental). She was recently announced as the special guest on One Republic's 'Escape To Europe 2025 Tour' (tickets here), and released her Amazon Music City Sessions Live EP.
Meanwhile, last year saw Breland selected as a Global Music Ambassador of America, opening the Jets vs Vikings NFL game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, supporting Shania Twain on her UK arena tour and releasing his latest EP, 'Project 2024'. He headlines Speedfest Music Festival on Saturday 7 June to conclude his UK run of 'Truth Telling Tour' dates (tickets here).
