Known for lighting up red carpets for his impeccable fashion style alongside dad Terry Crews ("Brooklyn Nine-Nine"/"America's Got Talent"), 15-year-old actor and musician Isaiah Crews is the most electric talent to storm into Hollywood as he gears up to take over television sets starring as 'Munchy' in the brand new Nickelodeon series "Side Hustle,". The highly teen series is from the trifecta of kid's comedy writers and executive producers Dave Malkoff ("Sam & Cat", "Victorious"), and John Beck & Ron Hart ("Fuller House", "Liv and Maddie").
Nickelodeon's brand-new live-action buddy comedy "Side Hustle" stars social media sensations and real-life best friends, Annie LeBlanc and Jayden Bartels. "Side Hustle" follows 'Lex' (LeBlanc) and 'Presley' (Bartels) along with their quirky friend 'Munchy' (Crews) when they find themselves in a sticky situation after an accidental mishap destroys the police vehicle belonging to Munchy's dad. Forced to come up with creative ways to earn money to pay for the damages, the best friends enlist the help of Presley's tech-savvy younger brother, Fisher (Mitchell Berg), to create an app called "Kid-DING" to connect with people looking for help with small jobs. With Munchy's bossy older brother Jaget (Jacques Chevelle) making sure they keep up with the payments, the three friends must do any jobs that come their way-no matter how crazy they are. Crews' character 'Munchy' is definitely the standout comedic role of the series, in the same vein as other iconic characters like 'Steve Urkel' ("Family Matters") and 'Screech' ("Saved by the Bell").
The multi-faceted newcomer is entering the family business, following in his dad, Terry Crews' footsteps, with a ton of talent. A fixture on TV sets around the country since he was five-years-old on the BET reality series "The Family Crews," Isaiah has gone on to star in national ad campaigns and appeared at the Gamer Awards in 2018.
When he is not on set, Isaiah can be found honing his musical skills on the drums, bass guitar and perfecting his vocals. He is also an accomplished dancer who has danced with several dance troupes around Los Angeles, all while taking consistent coding classes for the past five years. As an avid gamer, he famously built a PC from scratch with his dad that went viral on social media. Isaiah also enjoys Japanese anime and hopes to attend college in Japan in the future. The Los Angeles native is destined for stardom in the entertainment industry. His parents, Terry & Rebecca Crews, are both accomplished Hollywood talents and Isaiah is quickly rising the ranks with his first starring role on television.
