JoBee Project unleashes fire with her new single 'Burning Sense' off her upcoming album 'The Beginning

Fierce, fiery and full of flavour, Polish Brussels-based artist JoBee Project teams up with Belgian electronic producer Solemn Eye to turn up the heat with an alternative-electro single 'Burning Sense'. 'Burning Sense' is an ode to previous heart breaks and burn-out love stories. The single is about getting burnt in life and learning lessons along the way, further reinforcing that despite it all, she is ready to begin all over again. It was designed to reignite some beginning of summer vibes accompanied with out-of-this-world visuals perfectly fit for this spellbinding single.

With this single JoBee goes in a slightly different direction, the vocal powerhouse taps more into her delicate side than in the previous album 'The Blossoming,' showcasing her strength and gloss with minimalism.

On the single, JoBee said, "This song is a bridge to the new sounds of me, it's raw and more delicate. It shows the multi-facets of my personality and the growth I have experienced from life," JoBee has been creeping up the sidelines of the scene for a hot minute but now with the release of her upcoming album 'The Beginning' due to drop in September JoBee is set to turn heads and showcase her raw talent.

To date JoBee has released three albums, with each showcasing her versatility as she embraces a variety of melodies and rhythms with her no-nonsense attitude. With an inherent passion for music JoBee is excited to build a new chapter of sounds with the release of her forthcoming album 'The Beginning'.

Interview with JoBee Project

Question: How would you describe your music?

JoBee Project: My new sound differs in that it is not easy to define. There is a lot of alternative mixed with analogue electronics. The change came with my cooperation with a new producer, who introduced me to a different level, more cosmic and mystical, this melancholy on the new album is also a novelty, because who knows me knows that I'm not by nature like that. More poetic, more experimental, more dramatic, more genuine.


Question: What inspired the track Burning Sense?

Question: Which is your favourite song to perform live and why?

JoBee Project: I simply cannot choose (laughs) I imagine all my new songs will be most fun, I cannot wait to perform my new songs indeed. I am currently rehearsing for The Beginning tour.

Question: If you could have anyone, in the world, attend a show, who would it be?

JoBee Project: Beyonce, absolute queen!


Question: Do you prefer performing live or recording?

JoBee Project: I love both a lot but if I have to prefer than I prefer live shows of course. The energy with the public is just too priceless. I love it too much and I normally go wild!


Question: What motivates you most when writing music?

JoBee Project: It comes out of my gut, my inner JoBee speaking up to me, life stories, my own life experiences or some movie drama sometimes. Anything can motivate me am super driven at all times I could write songs all day long.


Question: Which music/artists are you currently listening to?

JoBee Project: There are many inspirations, but the most important ones are definitely Bjork, Sevdaliza, FKA Twigs, Smashing Pumpkins, Erykah Badu, Amy Winehouse, Ella Fitzgerald, BIllie Eilish, Robert Glasper and Flying Lotus.


Question: What or who was your inspiration to go into the music industry?

JoBee Project: Nobody, I was born with it, since I was little I used to sing all the time and say that I want to be a superstar, nothing has changed in this department. I am self-driven, born with it. And I have been pushing towards it ever since and I will never stop!

Question: If you could collaborate with another artist, who would it be?

JoBee Project: Flying Lotus, please call me, you got my number!


Question: What is the biggest challenge you have faced along the way to your musical success?

JoBee Project: Money! It all costs so much, production, video clips, promotion, costumes, education, the list just goes on. I have been investing a lot but it is worth it, hoping to sign a record deal real soon and take over the world!


Question: What's a typical day like?

JoBee Project: Routine is key to success. Daily healthy lifestyle is key too, loads of sleep first, then lots of water and exercise, sing on a daily! Balanced diet with healthy food, lots of veggies and fruit, playing piano, writing, listening to music, teaching singing to my lovely students from my Sing with JoBee Academy! I read a lot daily too.


Question: What has been your favourite part of becoming a music artist?

JoBee Project: Touring and playing lots of concerts and travel with it, I simply adore that part! My 2020 is getting booked already and am already invited to play in brand new places in the world I have never been to like Bonn in Germany, or Montreal in Canada, or Santiago in Chile!
