Ambient/electronic multi-instrumentalist ilah is proud to finally announce her debut single -Hold Me'. After kicking around on the Queensland live music scene for the past couple of years and living between Brisbane and Noosa, -Hold Me' is the first piece of recorded music from Lilah and is now streaming on Unearthed and Soundcloud.

-Hold Me' explores the all-too-familiar conflict we experience between head and gut instincts; the desperate want to be alone and extreme vulnerability of needing to be loved. Wholly written on the piano before bringing it to life in the studio, Lilah writes from personal experience about the pain of giving up on love and the chaotic emotions that follow. Laced with ethereal undertones and expansive vocals, -Hold Me' is a spectacular debut from this young songwriter.
After growing up on the Sunshine Coast, Lilah - aka Zoe Ward - moved to Brisbane at 17 to explore her love of music. It was there she found her love for all things electronic and ambient, which quickly began to inform her song writing. Combined with formative influences from ambient and pop acts like Sigur Ros, Flume and The 1975, Lilah was born. Having previously performed under the moniker Indigo Daze, Ward was named an artist to watch by Tone Deaf alongside Gold Class, Yeo, Food Court, Baro, Friendships and more.
