Loren Ryan Means Business On New Track, 'Bounty'

Known for her down to earth and sweet nature - dig a little further beneath the surface and you'll find Loren Ryan is not someone to mess with!

Inspired by the movie title, 'Dead for a Dollar', her new song came to fruition "from a sheer lack of anger management therapy". Validated by real life experiences, some might say an unfair share of shit from a small group of people. So, in Loren's seriously unserious nature, we have been served with 'BOUNTY'.

"I'm not going to name names specifically, but I'd like to say thank you to those who have put me through just the right amount of trauma to become unhinged enough to create some of my best work - happy streaming", she says.

After penning 'BOUNTY', Loren teamed up with 2023 Gold Coast Music Awards Producer of the Year, Jared Adlam, at Machine Lab Studios to record and produce the track. It sees the pair reunite for the first time since her 2024 smash hit, 'HOEDOWN'.

When you grow up in a small country town you're brought up tough, to stand on your own two feet and not let anyone 'put one over you'. 'BOUNTY' recounts this tale with an epic lyric twist. Taking on the scene of the wild, wild west - she's the outlaw with a bounty on her head. It brings to life Loren's artist origin story leading us into an exciting new era.

A proud Gamilaraay woman, Loren has been bringing her r&b infused country sound to the local country scene for many years – way before Beyonce dreamt up her latest incarnation on "Cowboy Carter". And Loren Ryan is as iconic - with her style an important puzzle piece to Australian country music.
