Road-tested with the toughest of crowds, Fabulous quickly proved its impact during an unexpected first play at Soho's legendary gay institution Ku Bar, where the entire room joined in the now-defining refrain… "It was the funniest thing ever," Meek says. "I jumped up on the bar and started lip-syncing along… I did half of the first intro and then everyone - literally everyone in the bar - was screaming, 'I'm so f*** fabulous.'" That spontaneous, high-kicking moment cemented both the song's power and Meek's ability to connect instantly in the room.
