New Zealand Indie-Rockers Park Rd Share New Single 'The Way I Feel'
New Zealand indie-rockers PARK RD are back today with their new single 'The Way I Feel'. Listen HERE. The track is the first release after spending the winter recording their new album, and hosting a month-long live residency in Auckland.
The uptempo track sees the band bringing their wistful guitars and driving drums pushing the track forward, with a singalong chorus that has already caught the attention of crowds around Auckland. 'The Way I Feel' sees lead singer Tom Chamberlain trying to embrace his inner "bad boy", longing after an unrequited love. Alongside recent singles 'English Boy' and 'Antidote', the track shows the continued progression of PARK RD, further honing their indie-rock based sound.
With a sophomore album on the way and new music already making waves, the band is rapidly building momentum across Aotearoa and Australia. Their recent four-week residency in Auckland saw lines down the block every week, and they will be on support duties for Grentperez's only NZ show in November. Expect more new music over the summer as PARK RD build towards the anticipated release of their new album.
Over the past couple of years PARK RD have supported The Rions across Australia, and undertaken headline tours in both NZ and Australia, performed at BIGSOUND and SXSW Sydney, and supported The Band CAMINO, Milky Chance and Spacey Jane in New Zealand.
