EDM poster-boy Porter Robinson made his acting debut in the new video for -Lionhearted', the third single from his forthcoming debut album -Worlds'. Album pre-orders are available now, but first, watch the 'fist-pumper" track (Stoney Roads) come to life with a Jodeb directed clip.
In a merging of destructive yet beautiful chaos, the clip sees Porter and a gang of Harajuku girls running riot through the night, on a fantastical and vandalous rampage. Having worked together on Porter's -Language' music video, there was no doubt the clip was going to be a show-stopper; and with the addition of Harajuku-based stylist Elleanor Yamaguchi a.k.a. Elleanor Tokyo (who also stars in the video) to the team, it's all brought even further to life.
The new single is a driving alt-electronic anthem that features surging vocals from Swedish indie outfit Urban Cone, as it pushes-and-pulls between ambient sighs and power chords. It's from Porter Robinson's debut album, -Worlds' which lands August 8th.
The highly anticipated album features the likes of Breanne Duren (Owl City) and Norwegian duo Lemaitre, as well as vocalist/guitarist/songwriter Sean Caskey (Last Dinosaurs) who shares:
"The collaboration came out of nowhere actually. Porter had heard of Last Dinosaurs' music online and approached us. He was really digging some of the elements of our music and writing, and wanted to incorporate some of those ideas into the song that eventually became Years Of War."
