Ruel Performs on MTV TRL

Young prodigy Ruel returns to Australian shores this week after his SOLD OUT North American leg of his READY tour. Having performed in Toronto, New York and finishing up last Friday in LA'S iconic Roxy theatre, Ruel is set to play a run of national Australian shows across Melbourne, Perth, Canberra, Brisbane and Sydney. Ruel will then embark on the rest of his world tour next month, playing to sold out rooms in London, Amsterdam, Berlin & Auckland.

Ruel's first Australian national tour kicks off this week in Melbourne with a sold out show on Thursday and an 18+ show on Friday September 28th @ The Corner Hotel, before heading to Perth for a licenced all ages show @ Astor Theatre in Perth on Saturday. Coinciding with this amazing milestone Ruel performs a live acoustic version of his single 'Younger' on TRL MTV. Coupled by an interview with Sway Calloway this is just another incredible achievement for 15 year old Ruel to perform on such an iconic international program.

Ruel released his debut EP READY earlier this year, which was produced by Ruel's good friend, mentor and collaborator M-Phazes (Eminem, Logic, Kimbra, Zara Larsson, KYLE). The EP has already been streamed over 50 million times. 'Younger' features on READY and has been supported by a by a brilliant video directed by Grey Ghost. Intended as a short film the clip explores what it means to choose your path early in life. "The storyline in the 'Younger' video isn't a direct reinterpretation of the lyrics so instead of it being about you and your mate choosing different paths over time, it's about choosing your own. Ruel explains. Since release, 'Younger' has already had over 3 million views on YouTube.
