With a bigger response to their 2015 headline tour than SAFIA could have ever imagined, the Canberra trio are adding even more dates to their SOLD OUT shows across the country. The tour is in support of their brand new single available today on iTunes, which peaked at #4 on Hype Machine, as well as scoring a tweet from Hollywood actress Chloe Grace Moretz (30 Rock, Kick-Ass), pushing it up to over 80K soundcloud plays in just a week.
With their Melbourne selling out in under 48 hours, a further show was added earlier this week. Extra dates in Sydney, Brisbane and Newcastle have now been added – full dates below. -Embracing Me' pairs intimate lyrical styling with crisp and snappy beat production, and is a strong contender as one of SAFIA's strongest offerings yet.
The -Embracing Me' tour follows SAFIA's two recent sold out shows in Sydney and Melbourne as part of the cool accidents' Vinyl Club launch parties, previous sold out tours, and appearances at the likes of The Great Escape, Primavera Festival, SXSW, and Falls Festival. Their Triple J Like a Version debut in May saw the three-piece cover Alt-J's -Left Hand Free', winning them virtual high fives from across the globe.
SAFIA will be supported on their national run by fresh faces, Boo Seeka, famed for their experimental compositions and dreamy evocations.
