 Welcoming the warm weather and long summer days, Phillip Island Nature Parks is hosting a wide range of activities to keep families, friends and couples alike entertained throughout the summer. Boasting activities for thrill-seekers and explorers, Phillip Island Nature Parks will be taking visitors on an unforgettable adventure across the Island. Introducing the brand new EcoBoat Tour, Phillip Island Nature Parks will be taking visitors out onto the water for a high-speed expedition along the coastline before getting an up close view of one of Australia's largest fur seal colonies. Visitors can also watch the little Penguins return home with a Guided Ranger Tour at the Penguin Parade. Churchill Island will ignite with Billy Carts and Rocket Blasts for a day filled with racing challenges and explosive experiments. The Phillip Island Nature Parks holiday program runs throughout January offering everything from arts and crafts to walks and talks across the famous Nature Parks locations. From exploration to adventure and nature experiences, Phillip Island Nature Parks is booming with activities to keep the kids entertained throughout the summer.

 

Phillip Island Nature Parks EcoBoat Adventures

Visitors to Phillip Island this summer will be able to experience adrenalin packed adventure with Phillip Island Nature Parks' new EcoBoat Adventures. Operating daily with three trips per day in peak season, the EcoBoat Adventures offer two tour options. Visitors can choose between a 90 minute experience to Seal Rocks, Nobbies, Summerland Peninsula and Cat Bay or, try the EcoBoat Express with a 60 minute trip to Seal Rocks, Nobbies and Cat Bay. Guided by experienced rangers, thrill-seekers can enjoy the scenic coastlines and witness up-close encounters with the Island's local wildlife for a day of discovery, adventure and excitement.

Billy Carts and Rocket Blasts at Churchill Island
For a day of thrills and excitement, Phillip Island Nature Parks' Churchill Island Heritage Farm will be hosting billy cart races and rocket building activities. Visitors are encouraged to bring billy carts to the race to be in the running to win a number of great prizes. Time trials for the race will run right up to the major race at 2pm. For an alternative family fun activity, visitors are welcome to build bottle and balloon rockets in the -Launch Zone' or, catch the flight show with Captain Featherpants!

Phillip Island Nature Parks Summer Program
Hosted by Phillip Island Nature Parks education rangers, families are invited to experience a series of family fun activities to keep the kids entertained throughout the summer holidays. Featuring arts and crafts with Bush Creatures and Creations, Koala Prowls, Rockpool Rambles and a wide range of spotlight activities, there is something new and exciting around every corner.

Guided Ranger Tour at the Penguin Parade

Offering visitors the chance to get up close and personal with Phillip Island's famous little penguins, the guided ranger tour option allows families to explore the penguin colony before settling into reserved front row seats. Guests are supplied with binoculars and a headset for commentary as the penguins make their way up the beach for the night. Limited to ages 12+.
