Self-proclaimed anti-boy-band and internet sensations, The Janoskians, have released their eagerly anticipated new single -Best Friends' worldwide through Sony Music Entertainment. The boys recently announced the dates for the Australian leg of their #NotABoyBand World Tour, and kick off the first international date in Glasgow on May 24th.
The hysteria surrounding the release of -Best Friends' is being reflected online, with the single reaching the Top 10 on iTunes within hours of release and continues to climb up the chart. The social media promotion #JanoskiansToNo1 is driving sales with the promise of a personal phone call from The Janoskians for the person who shares the buy link (

-Best Friends' is an upbeat dance pop track that borrows from US artist Wallpaper's song, -Best Song Everrr'. The song was re-worked and re-written by Cash Money star Jay Sean, and produced by Orange Factory Music (-Boom Boom', -I Made It', 'Down'). -Best Friends' is the follow up single to The Janoskians' previous hit, -Set This World On Fire', which reached the Top 20 on iTunes in 17 territories within hours of release and achieved Gold sales in Australia.
"This song fits us. We really are just best mates having a blast!" says 19 year old Beau Brooks. 'We wanted to put out a song that fit our wilder side and -Best Friends' does that. We hope the fans love it!" The official video for -Best Friends' will be filmed using footage from The Janoskians' upcoming World Tour, incorporating the fans and enabling them to be a part of the experience, whilst also celebrating the theme of the song.
What started as an after school project for the teenagers has grown into something of a phenomenon, with The Janoskians' fear-of-nothing-attitude and humour garnering them an army of fans around the world, and accolades from the likes of Ellen Degeneres, Ryan Seacrest, Ariana Grande and Jay Sean. Their Twitter following alone has a cumulative reach of over 3.8 million, and their YouTube views amass almost 100million. This vastly international gathering of loyal and dedicated fans continues to grow daily, reaching corners of Europe, the US, the UK and Asia.
The Janoskians (Just Another Name Of Silly Kids In Another Nation Skip) consists five teenage boys from the suburbs of Melbourne, who started gaining recognition late in 2011 after uploading prank mockumentary style videos to their YouTube channel.
