TOKiMONSTA Don't Call Me ft. Yuna

LA-based super-producer Jennifer Lee, better known as TOKiMONSTA, who has worked with Anderson Paak., Jessie Ware and Kelly Rowland in the past, unveiled new single, -Don't Call Me' featuring Malaysian singer-songwriter Yuna, with a video alongside. The single is the first to be released from TOKiMONSTA's upcoming album Lune Rouge, set for release on 1 September via her own Young Art Records imprint.

The mesmerising video for -Don't Call Me' feat. Yuna features both TOKIMONSTA and Yuna amongst shifting natural and supernatural landscapes, with Yuna clones multiplying while TOKIMONSTA stays at the helm controlling the soundscape.

Lune Rouge will be the third proper full album from TOKiMONSTA and will both be a logical progression of her sound and surprising left turn from an artist that rarely ceases to surprise. 'I chose the title Lune Rouge which translates to -red moon' because I think people perceive it to hold ominous weight" Lee explains her thinking behind the album's title. 'However, a red moon is rare and pretty awesome event from a scientific perspective and, to me, means significant change".

The single and album announce coincide with a huge world tour which kicks off in Shanghai and winds across hemispheres through the rest of 2017. An Australian date has been announced for 9 August, with more details to come. The world tour will include performances at some of the world's major music festivals including Reading & Leeds, Voodoo Music + Arts Experience and Sunny Side Up.

Lee's work as TOKIMONSTA gained widespread recognition from the very start with her debut album Midnight Menu released on Flying Lotus' Brainfeeder imprint and cemented her reputation as a formidable presence of the then-emerging West Coast beat scene. She has performed at highly sought after festivals around the world including Coachella, Panorama, Moog Fest, Time Festival, Roskilde, Beyond the Valley, and many many more.
