Ventresca's New Music Video, "Craving" Out Now

Born on January 3, 2002, in Toronto, Ontario Canada, Ventresca got her start in show business dancing at the prestigious school of Canadian Dance Unit but, her interest quickly shifted to singing and songwriting and began taking vocal lessons at the Royal Conservatory of Toronto.

Her first song, "Craving" got the attention of former Sony, Arista recording artist/composer Cindy Valentine, turned manager for The Star Groomer and A&R for Play & Oracle Records who immediately signed her.

Since her signing with the Star Groomer, Ventresca has shot two music videos, recorded in Toronto, Rome Italy, has been featured on Cashbox and Record World Magazine. She's performed during Indie week and getting ready to perform at the upcoming Soiree/Living legend awards on January 24th, 2020 during Grammy week.

Collaborations from Grammy award winning and multi-platinum producers/composers that include Cindy Valentine (Bebe Rexah, Alisha, Lori Russo), Mr. Mig (Madonna, Beyonce), Jackie Boyz (Justin Bieber, David Guetta, Rihanna) Luigie "Lugo" Gonzalez (Ricky Martin, Christina Aguilera), Giampaolo Pasquile (Juliet Carina, David Ekerot Feat: Corrado Rustici)

Interview with Ventresca

Question: How would you describe your music?

Ventresca: I would describe my music as Pop infused with some dance undertones.


Question: What motivates you most when writing music?

Ventresca: My pain, love, hurt and happiness.


Question: Can you tell us about filming the Craving video?

Ventresca: Well since 'Craving' is my first music video, I can tell you that it was a learning experience and I never expected to shoot in two locations, which is what happened-Toronto and NYC.



Question: Do you prefer performing live or recording?

Ventresca: I prefer performing live and interacting with my audience for sure.


Question: If you could have anyone, in the world, attend a show, who would it be?

Ventresca: There are so many talented artists but it really would be a dream if Charlie Puth would watch a performance of mine.


Question: Which music/artists are you currently listening to?

Ventresca: Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello, Dua Lipa, and Charlie Puth.


Question: What or who was your inspiration to go into the music industry?

Ventresca: Dua Lipa, Charlie Puth, Sia, Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez and Madison Beer.


Question: If you could collaborate with another artist, who would it be?

Ventresca: Charlie Puth, Sia or Lady Gaga.


Question: What's a typical day like?

Ventresca: I'm in school half the day so my routine, depending on the day is filled with, vocal lessons, dance lessons, piano lessons, rehearsal and I only get Sunday to myself.


Question: What has been your favourite part of becoming a music artist?

Ventresca: Becoming more and more fearless, embracing creative ideas, and knowing that I can be a good role model for other aspiring young artists.
