On April 27th and 28th 2009, a diverse range of Australian and International art, featuring the work of some of the world s greatest fashion photographers, will be auctioned by Australia newest auction house Artemis.

Usually seen on the pages of Vogue and strutting international runways, Artemis Auctions has gathered together iconic images of Claudia Schiffer, Helena Christensen, Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford and Nadja Auermann.

Image makers such as Helmut Newton, Herb Ritts and Giles Bensimon have captured some of the most iconic fashion frames in history

Also included are Guy Bourdin images from 1960s and 1970s French Vogue (Lot 527, 528,535), a Helmut Newton image of Naomi Campbell surrounded by Versace glamour (Lot 533) and, originally shot for Vogue, the Francesco Scuvullo nude featuring Claudia Schiffer.
