Barney Martin Top Spring Hair Trends

Spruce up your spring look with some of the top seasonal trends as predicted by the team at Barney Martin. From the blunt 40's bob, to the sleek high bun or colourful dip dyed ends to natural -bronding', the team at Barney Martin have you covered!

Here are the team's top spring trends for 2012:
Erin Smith – Stylist – Cut:
The medium length old-fashioned 40's bob is definitely making a come back, along with big side parts with grown out fringes. This style looks best with the ends cut noticeably blunt and is more suited to an oval shaped face. This bob is simple and low maintenance, as apposed to the former graduated styles that can be a nightmare to grow out.

Shukeel Murtaza- Artistic Director – Style:
For hair up, the style for spring will definitely be the -top knot. Simply tie hair into a really high pony-tail, preferably at the top of the crown, then twist the hair around to create a bun shape and secure with hair pins. Wear this nice and sleek or use your fingers to add texture and shake it out a bit. This is the perfect look for the warmer months as it keeps hair off your face and neck and is adaptable for both work and play or beach to bar!v
Andrew Bradbury – Senior Stylist – Colour:
This spring, our colour predictions are a natural mix of colouring. This hot technique of colouring is known as -bronding' – the mixing of brown with blonde. In spring we'll be well and truly moving away from the balayage look by smudging the two tones together, creating a natural blend of blonde and brown. I also think we'll be seeing a lot of dip dyed hair in fun, bright colours!
