Behind The Scenes Video For New Album Real Class Act

After the success of the ARIA #6 debut album -Small Town Bigshot', Fanny Lumsden returned to work again with producer Matt Fell of Love Hz studios for the crowd-funded ARIA #1 sophmore album -Real Class Act', released September 2017. A behind the scenes video of that secret recording process has captured the chaos, passion, intensity and love of that musical journey including the special guests and family members who snuck onto the album.

Directed by Sam Brumby, edited by Dan Stanley Freeman and Red Dirt Road Productions, the short film encapsulates the energy and dedication that influenced the album, with Fanny returning from her little mountain home in rural NSW to the Sydney studio and camping out above the production rooms until the project was complete.

'Creating this record with Matt at Love Hz was a wonderfully intense three weeks. We were staying upstairs in the studio and becuase we were recording 'secretly' it allowed me to give my absolute focus to really creating a world around each song," said Fanny.

With her band The Thrillseekers in tow, Fanny kicked off the 6th Annual Country Halls Tour with a number of sold out shows in regional and remote towns across Australia, bringing the warm glow of live music to these isolated communities. The tour continues through to March 2018. Honing her gift for vibrant songwriting, Fanny took inspiration from the road when writing the crowd funded sophmore album, -Real Class Act', which was the first release on her newly formed independent label Red Dirt Road Records. Red Dirt Road Records have recently received a prestigious Create NSW Regional Touring Grant 2017 for the Country Halls Tour, a 'all-in-community-night-out' that raises funds for the rural halls often forgotten on the touring route.
