With his headline Australian and New Zealand tour kicking off this week and a forthcoming slot at Splendour in the Grass, Dutch producer GANZ today shares the first remix of -Lightyears' ft. MARIBELLE, reworked by Tasmanian upstart and tour support Akouo. Clocking over 200K streams online, the original track features Melbourne's MARIBELLE and was premiered with international taste-making touchstone Anna Lunoe on Beats1.
The remix comes off the back of GANZ's acclaimed 2016 GAO EP, featuring monumental collaboration, -Lone' with What So Not and JOY. which topped the Hype Machine Charts, claimed a spot at the top of triple j's most played chart for 5 consecutive weeks, and has been streamed over 3 million times online.
Joining GANZ on the road for the full run of Aus/NZ dates, Akouo's 2014 EP Mesa charted at #1 in iTunes Electronic Chart, he has previously given remix treatments to the likes of SAFIA, Zhu, Gorgon City and #1 Dads, and is set to play Your Paradise Fiji this year.
