Fresh from an appearance at Vivid Sydney's new one-day music festival Curve Ball, Australian producer and vocal powerhouse, JOY. has released her new single and accompanying video for -Like Home.' Co-produced by New-York based production duo Take A Daytrip, whose credits include Raury's -Home,' the track follows the announcement JOY. will appear at Listen Out Festival.
-Like Home' is JOY.'s first offering since her acclaimed Ode EP, which landed #1 on the iTunes electronic charts, spurred Hype Machine topping single -About Us' and prompted a sold-out Australian tour. The accompanying video, directed by Joel Burrows, (Spookyland) and produced by Entropico, captures the solemn and surreal, following JOY. as she explores the loneliness of the city at 3am. Earning a coveted spot on the Australian Spotify Spotlight for 2016 list, the producer has garnered strong support from local and international tastemakers, including Beats1 Zane Lowe, who highlighted JOY. as -One to Watch' at last year's Beats Sound Symposium in Sydney. Welcoming 2016 with a performance at Field Day, the triple threat has been busy writing, producing and recording in LA.
