Jason Singh, former Taxiride vocalist and songwriter, is currently on a live regional tour to promote his new single, 'Speakers", which has seen the multi-Platinum selling, chart topping musician back on the radio airwaves, with adds across the country.
Ever the dynamic live performer, Jason is travelling with his friend and fellow guitarist, Adam Surace, taking the stage in duo form at the Brothers Leagues Club, Ipswich (Thursday, April 17th), Breezes @ Twin Towns, Coolangatta (Saturday, April 19th) and The Abby, Canberra (Saturday, April 26th), with more dates to follow.
Once again proving Jason's undeniable pop sensibility, 'Speakers" has had a great reaction in its first week, getting added to over 40 stations nationally, including commercial regional stations, with dozens more music directors keeping the track on their radars.
Now pursuing a solo career, which has seen him score two Top 10 ARIA club hits, Jason recently released his debut album, 'Humannequin" which has proven to be popular with movie producers, selecting tracks for placement: 'Easy" is featured in the new Australian movie 'John Doe : Vigilante". The film is set for release in the US in March and stars Jamie Bamber (Battlestar Galactica) and award-winning Australian actor Lachy Hulme (Howzat: Kerry Packer's War and The Matrix Revolutions). Japanese band Precious Stone recorded 'I Believe" for their 2013 movie release, and the Seven Network used the first single off the album, 'Hold On Forever" during their 10-week launch campaign for 'Million Dollar Minute".
As frontman for Taxiride, Jason shared nationwide success with two Top 5 ARIA platinum selling albums and six Top 40 ARIA charting singles including three Top 10 chart entries with Get Set, Everywhere You Go and Creepin' Up Slowly. The latter achieving the #1 most broadcast song on radio and television.
Over the past two years Jason has performed over 600 live shows and recently completed a -pop up concert' tour of Sanity music stores, traveling over 3,000 kilometers, connecting with fans.
Speakers is a big-sounding multi-formatted pop rock dance track that once again displays Jason's innate sense of melody and classic songwriting ability.

Humannequin was produced by the legendary, ARIA-Award winning Charles Fisher, whose studio pedigree boasts such success stories as Savage Garden, Air Supply, Hoodoo Gurus, Ace of Base and Olivia Newton-John (to name a few), the album 'sets a new benchmark with sky scraping pop songs."
