Kickstarting what is set to be an incredible year, Ghanaian-Australian sister duo Kinder (Briony and Savannah) return with the release of their dynamic new single "Still The Same", out today via Warner Music Australia.
After garnering the attention of key global tastemakers such as Keinemusik, Diplo and Grimes with the release of their incredible collaborations, mashups and live shows, the songwriter/producer sibling duo are set to have their biggest year yet.
Showcasing their signature Afro-house sound, all the while exploring a pushing new sonic drive, "Still The Same" was inspired by a feeling of inner turmoil and self reflection.
Touching on the song's origins, Savannah notes "We wrote this track last year when we were travelling and I realised it didn't matter if I was London, LA or New York, the internal struggle I was facing didn't go away, it was just a distraction. I realised I had to do the inner work in order to really overcome the overall feeling of being lost and sit with the discomfort of solitude and be ok with that."
Following a series of notable performances this summer both at home in Australia and around Asia, including sets at the WBBL arena show and festivals such as the Australian Open and Big Pineapple Festival, Kinder are now set to hit the road with a string of rooftop performances around the country.
Speaking of their new direction and upcoming shows, Kinder note "It's nice for us to welcome a new chapter where we have explored new sounds and concepts. We are excited to bring this all together in a live setting and blend the old with the new. "

Having played the biggest stages on Australia's EDM circuit and drawing inspiration from club sounds the world over, Ghanaian-Australian singer, songwriter and producer sibling duo Kinder (aka Savannah and Briony Osei) are primed to become two of the country's most beloved homegrown stars.
In 2022, the Kinder girls shared their four-track EP 'Yenko' bridging the gap between Kinder as artists, and Sav and Briony as people through their music, allowing the pair to share and celebrate the depth of their Ghanaian heritage with the world. Led by singles "Come Along (feat. A.GIRL)", "Rasta (feat. Gold Fang)" and "Bus Stop", these songs took them from clubs to festival stages. Their liberating follow-up EP "Akwaaba" which featured the celebratory "Keep Up" saw them find their feet experimenting with primal club music and deeper lyrical themes, having produced the project at Jono Ma's studio in Byron Bay alongside Jonti Danilewitz.
2023 saw Kinder release remix tracks "Like It" and "This 1 Thing", which were immediate fan favourites, shortly followed by "Lightyears", recorded at Spotify Studios in London with UK Producer BCBC, which was the cannon firing that signified the beginning of Briony and Savannah Osei's new chapter.
The duo have since taken the Aussie dance music scene by storm, hustling for a series of stellar wins including their unforgettable triple j Like A Version of Nelly Furtado's "Say It Right" and more recently their mashup of Drake x Black Coffee which has clocked over 5M views and landed cosigns from both Keinemusik and Drake's team. They've supported some of dance music's biggest names including Marshmello, RL Grime, and Elderbrook, and played some of the country's biggest festivals like Splendour In The Grass, Dark Mofo, Spilt Milk, Listen Out, Out Of The Woods, and many more. After a run of shows last summer in Europe, Kinder found themselves holed up in Idris Elba's studio in London working on the inaugural release for Idris Elba's Sound International label, "Far From Home," a dynamic collaboration between Kinder, Nigerian vocalist C-Mart, and Dutch producer David Mackay. The release of "Far From Home" came fresh off the back of the new Australian Pepsi Max commercial, directed by leading creative director Dave Meyers (Sabrina Carpenter, JLo, Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar + more); and featuring Kinder themselves and sound-tracked by their single "Come Along".
Stay tuned for more to come from Kinder.
