Introducing L'abrea - Frizz Free, Formaldehyde Free, Fuss Free Formula for Salons

Keratin treatments are problematic for salons due to their association with dangerous chemicals and hair damage. Thankfully, L'abrea Cosmetics has the solution with their new guaranteed formaldehyde free professional salon treatment that penetrates the cuticle to improve texture, enhance manageability and reduce frizz for up to six months.

L'abrea Cosmetics was founded in Brazil six years ago following the high demand for hair treatments. After extensive research and development the company created a new technology to make hair smooth, shiny and frizz free without harmful ingredients like formaldehyde.

L'abrea Cosmetics is now launching in Australia with all Australian made products. In Australia, the maximum amount of Formaldehyde permitted in hair products is 0.2% however many products on the market are notorious for disguising their high levels of the toxin in 'formaldehyde free" treatments. This means that treatments can cause side affects such as sensory irritation, skin sensitisation and dermatitis.

Most products only test for formaldehyde before the treatment process which sets the toxic levels at the accepted level. However, when heated, other chemicals in the treatment release formaldehyde and therefore test positive to containing the toxin.

L'abrea Cosmetics tests all their products using a machine that formulates how much formadehyde is evident after the treatment. Their new keratin treatment acts with a very low PH during the process, which is contrary to other Keratin treatments. There is no formaldehyde, no ammonia, and no carbon cysteine in L'abrea products and they contain 90-95% natural ingredients. The shampoo is made in a skin laboratory and is SLS free which means it does not contain sodium lauryl sulphate which can cause damage to your hair, skin and eyes.

L'abrea Keratin Treatment contains renewable source materials such as coconut and jojoba oil which reinforces the internal hair structure, improving the condition of the hair by smoothing the cuticle and eliminating frizz. It also provides external protection to the hair from environmental stresses.

The new formulated kit contains an anti-residue shampoo, conditioner and deep repairing mask. The anti-residue shampoo opens the hair shaft for Keratin reconstruction. A combination of heat from the hair dryer and the thermal ion activate the key ingredients which are infused into the cuticle. The mask finally hydrates and balances the hair pH levels. These three products, designed for salons, transform the hair into frizz-free, smooth, shiny hair.

Once the customer has completed their salon experience with the L'abrea Keratin treatment, they can purchase an aftercare pack that contains anti-frizz shampoo and conditioner. The home care pack replenishes and ensures the longevity of the L'abrea Keratin treatment.

'The L'abrea Cosmetics range is perfect for salons. There are no other products like this on the market.  Our new line is gentle on the scalp, the process is efficient and it creates amazing results," says Maryam Geddes, Director of L'abrea Cosmetics.
