Melbourne International Comedy Festival

A-List Entertainment is delighted to be presenting a hilarious line-up of talent at this year's Melbourne International Comedy Festival, which is set to take over Australia's comedy capital from Wednesday 29th March until Sunday 23rd April.

With a jam-packed program of stand-up comedy, cabaret, theatre, street performance, film, television, radio and visual arts, the festival has grown to become Australia's largest cultural event.

From the best local talent including Lawrence Mooney and Troy Kinne to international sensations, Jimeoin and Puppetry of the Penis, A-List Entertainment is bringing a program of tremendous talent to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival stage for three and a half weeks.

Three time Barry Award nominee, Lawrence Mooney, is a must-see at this year's festival with a hilarious show, -Like Literally' which weaves in anecdotes and cautionary tales into a patchwork that is him, like literally.

'Relentless is the word for it. Lawrence Mooney batters his audience with an onslaught of proven, polished stand-up, driven home with a commanding delivery." Chortle

Nominated for the -Most Outstanding Newcomer' Logie Award, Troy Kinne's popularity continues to soar with his relevant online videos being constantly shared all over the world. Troy's show -#NO Filter' is a summary of his everyday observations making him one of the most relatable comedians today.

'One of Australia's funniest new stars." The Daily Telegraph

Internationally renowned, Jimeoin, is bringing his brand new show -RENONSENSE MAN!' to this year's comedy festival. With the best eyebrows in the business, it's easy to see why this man is one of the world's best stand-up comedians.

'Jimeoin recalls the familiar at a fantastically silly level, boiling his audience down to a tear-filled, gibbering mess." - Scotland on Sunday

The much-loved hilariously nuts spectacle that is Puppetry of the Penis is back! The stellar cast direct from Las Vegas, has kick-started its Australian tour and will stop at this year's festival, where two naked men (they wear shoes) manipulate their nether regions using the Ancient Art of Genital Origami.

'Dementedly good fun!" Vanity Fair

The Melbourne International Comedy Festival aims to discover, develop and showcase great talent for the entertainment and inspiration of a broad based audience – for three and a half weeks each year, Melbourne is the centre of the comedy universe.
