Mickey Kojak Club Is On Fire

Mickey Kojak Club Is On Fire

As the nation starts to reopen its venue doors, Australia's favourite acid-taking, video gaming son Mickey Kojak drops a heated new anthem "Club Is On Fire". Fiery and fun, the tripped-out track makes its debut in a reviving party era. "Club Is On Fire" is custom-made for the return of party animals everywhere.

A scorching follow up to his recent release "Lights Out", "Club Is On Fire" gives us a fresh taste of what's to come from Mickey's debut album Ultra, due for release in early 2022.

Combining Mickey's trademark twisted synth wizardry with hard-hitting techno drums, "Club Is On Fire" reminisces a wild and raving party punter's day-in-the-life. The glitched-out track implores listeners to burn it up on the dance-floor and party till you drop, featuring a ripping cowbell solo that has managed to fill Christopher Walken's prescription and finally settle his 20 year long fever. Mickey talks more about the "Club Is On Fire" themes; "This track was born from a long thirst to party that has developed over the last 18 months. There have been times I have woken up, having dreamt of being in a nightclub only to remember the devastating reality we've been living; it's time to quench that thirst."

In 2019, Mickey showcased his diverse artistry with a range of singles including hectic singalong tracks "All That Acid" and "Video Games" and a killer triple j Like A Version of Art vs Science's "Parlez-Vous Français". He then switched gears with the indie-inspired "Strange" in 2020. Throughout the pandemic, he's been bringing the party from home with his Techno Tuesdays offerings, an Instagram highlight of the week for many.

Mickey is back on the road, hitting Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney in November and December for some long overdue sweaty indie-electro fun.
