Arriving in Australia as part of the massive Bluesfest line-up, English singer-songwriter Rag'n'Bone Man will be heading out for a couple of exclusive Sydney and Melbourne sideshows in March 2018.
BRIT & Echo Award winner, Rory Graham (aka Rag'n'Bone Man) will embark on the highly anticipated Grande Reserve Tour set to hit the continent in 2018. Performing tracks off his multi-platinum selling album -Human', The Grande Reserve Tour will see Rag'n'Bone Man perform across 23 European countries, as well as Australia and New Zealand throughout February, March, April and May next year.
Rag'n'Bone Man released his debut album 'Human' in February 2017 to mass critical acclaim, the album was immediately certified gold and swiftly certified platinum just 3 weeks later having spent 2 consecutive weeks at the number 1 spot in the UK charts. The album has now sold more than three quarters of a million copies in the UK to date, with the single -Human' selling more than a million copies.
The phenomenal success of his single Human around the globe follows years of relentless performing for Rory. At the age of just 15 he started rapping in his hometown of Uckfield and then at 19, encouraged by his father, started singing at local blues nights. His combined love for blues and rap soon developed into something bigger, when he joined Brighton's hip-hop crew The Rum Committee, regularly travelling up to London to play hip-hop nights in Brixton. The releases of his Blues Town, Wolves and Disfigured EPs earned him huge crowds across the country, firming a dedicated fan base incredibly early on in his career.
So far in 2017 Rory has won two BRIT Awards – making him the first BRITs Critics' Choice Award winner to win Best British Breakthrough Act in the same year - sold out tours across Europe & the UK including three nights at London's O2 Brixton Academy, and performed on The Graham Norton Show, Comic Relief, Later with Jools Holland, The Jimmy Fallon Show, and The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
One of the major draw cards of the 2017 Splendour In The Grass lineup, Graham returns to Australia in March 2018. The success of Human, which recently went Gold in Australia, has allowed him to pull together a world class live show, replete with pulsing rhythms, divine backing vocals and, of course, that unmistakable voice - sounding more like something from the deep American South than of the British seaside town he calls home.
The reaction of Australian audiences to his previous shows has been nothing short of ecstatic, so it's fitting that the East Coasters in Sydney and Melbourne will be given a chance to witness Rag'n'Bone Man at these exclusive sideshows.
