Leap into spring and discover interactive exhibitions, art workshops, theatre installations, dancing and live performances at the City of Melbourne's ArtPlay starting 1 September 2011.

Come and be part of the Big Draw, an international initiative that encourages children to gather together to invent and communicate through drawing on 10 and 11 September. The free event will have plenty of artists on hand to guide and inspire, as well as lots of different activities and professional drawing materials.

There's something for everyone, including the little ones, at This [Baby] Life from 13 to 16 October. In a beautiful show for babies aged four months to18 months, families can participate in the experience of being part of the performance space as they interact with performers.

Lego lovers can take part in re-imagining a sustainable Melbourne at Green City of the Future on 19 and 20 November. Using 1,000 Lego base plates and 500kg of Lego bricks, children and families have the opportunity to imagine and create their very own dream city.

Melbourne's GPO is teaming up with creative agency The Jacky Winter Group to present 'Chain Mail: True Self' - an exhibition that links fashion and art in the manner of a chain letter. All profits from the event will be donated to the charity Fitted for Work - a fab initiative that provides clothing and training for disadvantaged women to help them find employment.
