The exhibition, taking place 14 May - 5 June, will give art lovers a special chance to see Otto's works, which capture his love of Neo Classical and Pre-Raphaelite art.

Many areas in Australia are prone to repeat flooding, and the recent Queensland floods have underlined the high toll of these disasters on homeowners, local communities, the insurance industry and the broader Australian community.

These events highlight the need for a national discussion about floods, including how we as a nation can prepare for them, mitigate their impact and fund the repair bill that results from floods and other natural disasters.

The Institute of Actuaries of Australia will host a one-day seminar to discuss the key issues relating to flood including Australian and international approaches to:

To mark their 2nd year of collective existence the Rah Collective - a group of Sydney based emerging artists - have set the stage for creative takeover. The book itself features 42 hand-picked emerging Australia artists, with full page images and interview style profiling of key artists. Antenna Documentary Festival today announced highlights of the 2012 programme to include a quality line-up of 30 feature length documentaries originating from over 15 different countries. Returning for its second year, the festival will take place in Sydney from 10th to 14th October and host 15 Australian premieres and 12 Sydney premieres.

Poets Corner is a spin off from the Poems on Pillows initiative which drew terrific media attention earlier this year. Poets Corner is a poetry installation in the foyer of the Sebel Pier One Sydney as a partnership between the hotel and Australian Poetry. It will remain in the foyer for two months from September 2nd, as a precursor to National Poetry Week (Sept 5-12) in order to raise the profile of Australian poets and poetry. The partnership also aims to offer ongoing opportunities for poets in 2011 and beyond.

The Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) today announced that acclaimed videogame designer Tetsuya Mizuguchi will visit Australia in September. The creator of popular titles Child of Eden, Rez and Space Channel 5 will visit ACMI for the Game Masters exhibition and to participate in public programs.

Tetsuya Mizuguchi will visit ACMI on 20 and 21 September 2012. The Game Masters exhibition is open at ACMI until 28 October 2012.
