The Trust Company, as Trustee, will be closing entries for Australia's most famed portrait prize for women, the Portia Geach Memorial Award, on 17 August 2012, with shortlisted finalists due to be announced in early September.

The winner of the 2012 Portia Geach Memorial Award will be revealed on 27 September with an exhibition of all finalists open for viewing by the public at the S.H. Ervin Gallery, The Rocks, until 4 November.

2012 will mark another prolific year for the young award winning UK comic - Watson will launch his debut DVD, host the smash Radio 4 series, Mark Watson's Address to the Nation with Tim Key and Tom Basden, be anointed team captain of the new BBC series Mad Bad Ad Show and release his fourth novel The Knot in August.

The real Mark Watson (not the stick insect expert called the same name - Google it) will be performing at the Adelaide Fringe, Brisbane Comedy Festival, Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Sydney Comedy Festival in 2012.
