Short Stack are the ultimate band, there is no question that they are well on their way to being undoubtedly one of the hottest young bands in Australia. Short Stack have sold out tours, and have had their smash hits rank number two on the Aria charts.

Short Stack are a three piece band from the New South Wales Central Coast:
Shaun Diviney - guitar / lead vocals
Andy Clemmensen- bass / vocals
Bradie Webb- drums / keyboards)

Although young, Short Stack really are an inspiration to Australian rock-bands, they have used the combined powers of the internet and social networking to create their success whilst supporting acts such as: The Veronicas, Metro Station, Simple Plan and Good Charlotte.

'Stack is the New Black' is Short Stack's newest release album which perfectly encapsulating the various sounds of Short Stack.

All of the music on 'Stack is the New Black' has the 'alive' sense Short Stack presents, which is produced by their short and fast lyrics and rock instrumentals.

The bonus album tracks 'Thick As Thieves' shows a different side to Short Stack's talent, with a soothing drum and piano introduction to the track.

The album as a whole makes you want to jump around and break out in a song as it motivates the typical pop punk genre.

Short Stack is edger than pop group Simple Plan. Their music cannot be summarised in a couple of words; they cover so many styles of music from ballads to rock to electronically altered tracks. The energetic band rolls from punk to electro to pop to glam, all with their pleasantly cheeky attitude!
