So it is with great excitement that The Frontier Touring Company confirm that 50 Cent is heading to Australia with G Unit and (the next big thing to hit the music charts) Obie Trice in tow.

Signed to superstar Eminem 's label, 50 Cent 's career has launched into overdrive over the past twelve months with his first single In Da Club a double platinum hit, second single 21 Questions a second massive chart buster while his third single P.I.M.P is currently sitting comfortably in the top ten and has just gone gold. The album Get Rich or Die Tryin ' impressively debuted at number four in Australia and is fast approaching double platinum.

With figures like that everything is pointing to the fact that a large chunk of the population in Australia is going to be beside themselves with excitement over this tour.

Then remember t hat it won 't just be 50 Cent heading down under but also his own crew G Unit and newcomer Obie Trice - the latest addition to Eminem 's label Shady Records. Obie 's album Cheers debuted in the top ten in the United States and new single Got Some Teeth will be released in Australia on November 3.
