Review:
I'm really loving Àerre's Sunset in Paris, it's fresh and feels feminine without being too sweet or overpowering. It opens with a gorgeous burst of bergamot, orange and mandarin that feels bright and energising, before settling into a really pretty floral heart of jasmine and rose. There's also a subtle hint of patchouli that gives it a little more depth, which I think stops the fragrance from feeling too girly or predictable.
As it settles on my skin, the vanilla, oakmoss and vetiver come through and give it a warmer, slightly sophisticated finish. I'd describe it as confident, fresh and a little playful, making it easy to wear during the day but still nice enough for going out. If you like fragrances with a fresh citrus opening, feminine florals and a warm, slightly woody dry-down, Sunset in Paris is definitely one I'd be happy to keep reaching for.
Compares well against Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle.
